Description
Essential Púrpura is a tribute to the winemaking tradition of the El Penedès region, where Juvé & Camps has been making wine since 1796. It represents the traditional approach and reflects the connection between Juvé & Camps and the history of the region. With a strong commitment to traditional and organic viticulture, this Cava captures the essence of El Penedès made from the three classic Cava grapes.
Perfect as an aperitif, on the terrace or with poultry, seafood, charcuterie, pasta, pizza and more.
The Xarel-lo, macabeo and parellada grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. Only those wines that meet the criteria for freshness and essential character are selected to be part of the Essential range. After bottling, the wine undergoes its second fermentation and is aged in the domain's cellars. Essential Púrpura ages for at least 24 months on the lees.
Tasting notes:
Beautiful golden in the glass with a sparkling mousse. The aroma is intense with notes of white flowers, citrus, stone fruit and light underlying autolysis notes of toasted almonds and brioche. The taste is incredibly charming with notes of orange blossom, citrus, sun-ripened white peach, buttered brioche and almonds. The aftertaste is long with a nice mineral finish.
